Players need respirate gear and fire protection for this quest.
Find Sir Halden. He is a wandering NPC in Nork Town, and can be hard to locate. When you do find him, tell him, "Sir, oath." He will tell you to go to Annalie, another wandering NPC. When you find her, tell her, "Ann, wards." She will give you the magic words that will remove the wards that keep an adventurer from entering the Lizard King's lair. You must repeat these words back to her exactly.
The lair is located in a ruined area of N -2, through water and through hostile crowds, and the portal can be recognized easily as something that has been especially constructed. Without the prior removal of the wards, a player cannot step onto the portal, nor can two players step onto the portal. This is a one-person quest. If the player has received the wards from Annalie, however, he will be transported immediately into the lair. Inside, you must kill the Lizard King, who fights with fire and physical attack. When he is dead, take a doll, and a golden level 4 fire and ice protection ring.
Take the doll to Annalie and tell her, "Ann, doll." She will be so grateful she will give you one permanent constitution point, not to exceed 18. You may not repeat the quest.
Lizard King: In actual play, there is nothing to indicate the words you must say to Annalie the first time you meet her. You could ask her questions all day long with no results. This makes this quest unnecessarily difficult.
